Projecting a Brighter Future for the Global Electronics Landscape

Sony Electronics Inc. has officially announced the latest entrant to its line-up of BRAVIA® projectors i.e. the BRAVIA Projector 7.

According to certain reports, the stated innovation will be powered by BRAVIA XR Processor for projector, which is best known for optimizing Sony’s cutting-edge BRAVIA TV video processing for projection. More on the same would reveal that it can effectively facilitate four powerful picture features, including XR Dynamic Tone Mapping, XR Deep Black, XR TRILUMINOUS PRO, and XR Clear Image, to deliver a professional-grade cinematic experience.

Talk about each feature on a specific note, we begin from XR Dynamic Tone Mapping, a component capable of analyzing peak brightness frame by frame. It can also conceive optimal tone mapping, showcasing images with rich gradation, high brightness, and brilliant colors.

The next one in line would be XR Deep Black, which can control powerful laser dimming in dark scenes to bring deeper blacks, while simultaneously maintaining tone and color expression. Furthermore, it improves power efficiency through optimization of laser output frame by frame.

XR TRILUMINOS PRO, on the other hand, will be tasked with bringing over a billion colors are brought to life. These colors are later on refined by XR Clear Image technology, which scales up all imagery to 4K quality by using a vast database to intelligently recreate lost texture and detail, and at the same time, minimize noise.

Talk about the whole value proposition on a slightly deeper level, we begin from the BRAVIA Projector 7’s revolutionary compact design with native 4K laser technology. This translates to how the device in question is engineered for effortless integration into modern living environments.

Such capacity enables the projector to offer a sleek and compact form factor without compromising cinematic quality at any point.

Next up, there is potential for brighter performance, as the new projector can deliver up to 2,200 lumens of brightness, higher than the award-winning VPL-XW5000ES.

Then, there is the prospect of an optimized gaming experience. You see, Sony’s latest brainchild will boast, at launch, 4K/120fps, ultra-low latency, HDMI 2.1 support, auto low latency mode, and 12ms response time at 4K/120fps.

Another detail worth a mention here stems from the technology’s smart home integration and remote maintenance. In essence, the solution is understood be fully compatible with leading home automation platforms like Control4, Crestron, Savant, and AMX.

Complementing that would be a facility dedicated towards remote monitoring via OvrC and Domotz which enables effortless system maintenance and control, all from a single remote.

Hold on, we still have a few bits left to unpack, considering we haven’t yet touched upon projector’s promise to provide flexible installation for any space. Here, Corner Keystone Correction and versatile Lens Shift functions come in handy to make installation simple, and they do so even in rooms with high ceilings or limited space, ensuring a perfect image every time.

We also haven’t touched upon the availability of new aspect ratio scaling mode. This particular mode allows you to seamlessly switch between 2.35:1 and 16:9 ratios on Cinemascope screens, without mandating any lens adjustments. The new Aspect Scaling Mode also provides greater viewing flexibility with just a tap.
