Proposing Enhanced Flexibility as the Ultimate Medium to Sharpen WiFi Performance

Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure, AI- and cloud-powered business and home networking solutions, has officially expanded its portfolio of dual-radio WiFi 7 access points, launching WBE510D BE6500 WiFi 7 Dual-Radio NebulaFlex Pro Access Point and WBE630S BE12300 WiFi 7 Dual-Radio NebulaFlex Pro Access Point.

According to certain reports, both WBE510D and WBE630S access points feature NebulaFlex Pro which, on its part, can provide unparalleled management flexibility to help users switch between standalone, on-premises controllers, or intuitive Nebula Control Center modes, without having to bear any extra costs.

More on that would reveal how these access points also feature the flexible BandFlex radio that supports either 5GHz or 6GHz operation by configuration, making them the most economical choices for extending 5GHz coverage or adding 6GHz support to existing networks. Beyond that, there is an advanced RF filter capable of preventing interference between the 5GHz and 6GHz bands to ensure optimum performance on all channels.

On an individual level, the dual-radio WBE510D access point brings to your disposal one 2.5GbE LAN port, while simultaneously supporting 2.4GHz (2×2:2) and 5GHz or 6GHz (4×4:2), and delivering fast WiFi 7 speeds up to 6.5Gbps. Complementing that would be an innovative dual-optimized antenna that allows WBE510D to be mounted in wall or ceiling mounting modes, providing flexibility in deployment.

On the other hand, WBE630S comes bearing the means to support 2.4GHz (2×2:2) and 5GHz or 6GHz (4×4:4) at speeds up to 12.3Gbps. This it is able to achieve on the back of two 2.5GbE LAN ports. The access point in question also packs together smart antenna technology, which automatically adapts antenna patterns to optimize WiFi connectivity and coverage across a wide variety of environments, from crowded classrooms to expansive open spaces.

“WBE510D and WBE630S deliver the full potential of WiFi 7 with MLO support to provide the fast speeds, low-latency, and seamless connectivity that is required in challenging environments such as hospitality and educational settings,” said Shawn Rogers, Market Development Manager at Zyxel Networks. “The flexibility of management provided by NebulaFlex provides organizations with a high-performance WiFi solution that integrates seamlessly into nearly any network environment, providing an upgradeable, future-proof solution.”

Talk about both WBE510D and WBE630S access points on a slightly deeper level, we begin from their promise to provide intelligent cloud management.

Leveraging Nebula Cloud Management, the pair effectively offers streamlined network installation and management without the need for any added software or hardware controllers. Alongside that, we have comprehensive monitoring and reporting capabilities coming into play. These capabilities include real-time notifications for critical events via the Nebula Mobile App.

In case that wasn’t enough, the access points also feature WiFi Aid, Wireless health, and automated WLAN management and optimization.

Next up, we have the potential for enhanced privacy and security. Here, the access points bank upon a wide-ranging assortment of security add-on features, such as Collaborative Detection and Response (CDR), Secure WiFi, Connect & Protect+ (CNP+), DPPSK, and advanced authentication methods, each one chipping in to provide a robust and protected network environment.

The all-new access points also deploy Multiple Link Operation (MLO) technology to let devices stay connected to the access points when transmitting and receiving data on multiple radios. The MLO technology, in case you weren’t aware, can significantly amplify data throughput, reduce latency, as well as enhance reliability for applications like VR/AR, online gaming, remote office setups, and cloud computing.

Another detail worth a mention is rooted in the technology’s bid to eliminate RF interference. You see, DAF systems are often used, across large commercial buildings, condos, and apartments, to rebroadcast LTE and 5G signals and provide indoor coverage, potentially causing interference with nearby WiFi access points.

Fortunately enough, using advanced RF filters can eliminate interference between the 5GHz and 6GHz bands, whereas on the other hand, the built-in 4G/5G interference filter allows seamless coexistence with 4G/5G cellular networks. The rectangular design also maintains isolation between antennas to ensure a good signal-to-noise ratio for 4K QAM.

Moving on, with NebulaFlex in the mix, the technology also enables users to easily switch between standalone mode and the intuitive cloud-managed Nebula Control Center (NCC).
